Win a years car insurance: learner driver research trial |
DVSA is supporting Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) to help improve the safety of young newly qualified drivers through the Driver 2020 trial.
We need you
You can apply to take part in the trial if you're currently learning to drive and are under 25 years old.
If you take part, you might get some free training, e-learning or be asked to download an app to help with your learning.
You will be asked to complete several surveys after you pass your test, which you will be paid for.
What can you win?
All learner drivers taking part in the research will be entered into a prize draw to win either a years free car insurance, an iPad or shopping vouchers.
Research aims
Driver 2020 aims to identify which training, education and technology-based approaches give the greatest benefits to the safety, skill and confidence of young newly qualified drivers.
In a world-leading piece of research, TRL will be gathering information from more than 14,000 young people over the 3 years of the project.
